The cornerstone and goal of my teaching is for the student to enjoy creating music. We want the student to be inspired to practice and for music to be fun. In our lessons, I will teach you the fundamentals of guitar, musicality and how the guitar fits into an ensemble. We will develop an excellent repertoire of time-tested classics and discuss relevant theory as we go. My approach puts song at the forefront of the lesson with the goal being to create beautiful music. Theory is supplemental and discussed in the wake of learning songs.
